I'm a Finland-based consultant and writer with over 16 years of experience in enterprise architecture. I help organizations lead change through architecture that's both strategic and actionable. With a PhD focused on enterprise architecture benefit realization and a strong writing background, I turn complex ideas into insights leaders can actually use.In addition to nonfiction, I also write speculative fiction, which has been recognized in several national writing competitions. Outside of work, I enjoy flying—so the 20,000 ft view isn't just a metaphor.
Selected Project Highlights
● Embedded Enterprise Architect Under the CTO. Re-established enterprise architecture practices, documented baseline views, and designed multiple solution architectures.
● Enterprise Architecture Team Sparring. Coached an enterprise architecture team to sharpen practices and improve alignment through targeted guidance.
● Strategic Architecture Partner. Acted as a long-term advisor in business and IT transformation, ensuring architecture supported strategic goals and execution.
● Enterprise Architecture Practice Setup. Designed the modeling approach, implemented a shared tool, and supported the production of baseline views.
● Federated Open Data Platform Design. Defined the architecture and governance for an international open data system. Also contributed to roadmap, technology design, and guidance.
● IAM Target State Planning. Planned the target state of identity and access management, including key technology and integration choices with client IT leadership.

With 16+ years of experience in architecture consulting at CGI, Coala, and Accenture, I've helped over 30 organizations in the private and public sectors navigate change through business-aligned architecture. My core focus is enterprise and solution architecture that delivers value, clarity, and resilience—without overengineering.I consult on all aspects of enterprise and solution architecture: planning and modeling, practice development, governance models, maturity assessments, and tooling.
